Strekosa Design is an artist-run studio focused on rhythmic gymnastics illustration and event branding. We help tournaments, clubs and athletes look as inspiring as their performances – on the competition floor, on the podium and across social media.

“Strekosa” means “dragonfly” – a symbol of lightness and grace. This feeling of movement and freedom is what we try to bring into every project we create together with you.

From Fan Art to Global Arenas: A Passion that Elevates Every Event

The first Strekosa illustrations appeared back in 2012 — they were original drawings created for fan communities and to celebrate rhythmic gymnastics stars. I drew for a gymnastics blog, regularly attending and covering competitions as an independent journalist.

Through deep involvement in the sport — both as a fan and a blogger — I brought together my profession and my passion, design and gymnastics, into a single project: Strekosa Design. What began as a personal fascination with the artistry of gymnastics evolved into intricate, ornamental visuals crafted to accompany competitions — allowing every spectator to experience this sport as something unique, graceful, and elevated.

In 2014, Strekosa Design took shape as an independent brand. Since then, we’ve grown from a small creative hobby into a studio recognized across the global gymnastics community. Over more than 10 years, we’ve collaborated with dozens of teams and tournaments, learning and refining our craft with every project.

By 2018, Strekosa was designing for major events — from the Russian nationals “Young Gymnasts” competition to the international Grand Premium Platja d’Aro series in Spain. Step by step, project by project, we’ve built a distinctive expertise.

Today, Strekosa Design partners with tournaments in more than twenty countries — from intimate club meets to prestigious international championships — creating visual worlds that capture the spirit of gymnastics on every stage.

Our files come with correct sizes, bleeds and colour profiles (RGB or CMYK), according to your print shop or federation requirements. For big banners we choose resolution based on viewing distance, so everything looks sharp in the hall without overloading files.
Ready solutions online.
If you need something right now, our online catalog offers ready-made illustrations and layouts. You can pick a design, receive the file by email and go straight to print – ideal for tight deadlines or when you suddenly need “that one beautiful gymnast with a hoop”.
